Meet Our Team

Born and raised in Saginaw, MI. Grew up in a large family of 12 siblings of which my parents adopted 10. After graduating high school, I enlisted into the Army. I started as a Field Artillery Mechanic, but I had the opportunity to train as an Air Traffic Controller. I did that for about ten years. While serving as an Air Traffic Controller I earned my Bachelors, applied for, and was selected to attend Officer Candidate School. Upon graduation I was appointed as a Logistics officer. I served a total of 23 years and held many different positions such as Recruiter, Recruiting Commander, and Army Explosive Ordnance Disposal School Commander. I lived in several locations throughout the US, Germany, and Korea. I served in both the Afghanistan and Iraq conflicts. Upon separation from the Army, I was hired in by Georgia Pacific in Owosso, MI. During my time with them was the Reliability Manager and plant Superintendent. I have four children; Claire is a Cosmetologist and lives with her husband in Japan, Aidan is a Flight Attendant living in Denver, Erin is at Kettering University, and Elise is entering 7^th grade this year. My hobbies include DIY projects, hiking (I did 75 miles this summer), and going on cruises with the family. We have been on ten so far.
